Watch the African Hoop Dreams trailer

As with any production of any level, many people have contributed to the success and making of this film.

Director, Co-Producer, DP
Eric Drury is a first-time documentary director and long-time basketball fan whose love of many things African propelled him to embark on a discovery tour of basketball in Africa - and to film it.

Assistant Director, Sound Engineer, Photographer
Riamsara Knapp balanced sound and photo duties while she wasn't busy directing the director.

Co-Producer
Xavier Fréquant and C'est à Voir provided administrative, logistical and material support for the film, while also contributing to post-production costs.

Editor
Laurent Leveneur is a young editor whose steady demeanor helped make the film the reflective piece of work that it is.

Senegal Assistant
Mamadou Diakhaté was an invaluable resource during the Senegal filming. A one-man security detail, Wolof translator, assistant sound man, and equipment carrier. That was his day job. When not moonlighting for our crew, he's one of Senegal's top heavyweight boxers.

Second Camera
Charles-Henri Vinot worked the camera for all of the Japan World Championships, and Dennis Homes did the camera-work in Dallas and Chicago.
